2022 Sangiovese

This classic Italian variety, responsible for the famous wines of Chianti, has also found a very happy home in North East Victoria. We source the fruit from our own Quartz Vein vineyard at Wahgunyah.

The grapes were sourced from our cellar door block next to the winery and are of the Brunello clone which imparts Amorello cherry flavours in the wine.

A short time in both American and French small oak barrels has resulted in a wine showing subtle oak and typical Sangiovese flavours.
