Sunshine Pinot Grigio 2021

After the huge success of our inaugural Rare Rose fundraiser in 2020, we again collaborated with a local artist to create a limited release wine, with every label being unique to raise funds for Albury Wodonga Cancer Centre.

Our Rare Rose in 2020 raised $15,000 for the Cancer Centre, which was just absolutely amazing. We needed to go bigger and better in 2021, so we aimed for $20,000 to be donated, which we proudly achieved.

We collaborated with Chiltern artist Lisa Bishop to create the artwork for the 2021 label design. Each label is a unique piece of the artwork on a new release 2021 Pinot Grigio.

Lisa was honoured to be asked to be involved in the project “I lost my darling friend Tara earlier in the year after a huge struggle with breast cancer. She was beautiful, adventurous, unique, wild and hilarious. Her hair was wild and free and hence I put a lot of her vibes into the artwork.”

The fundraiser wine is aptly named “Sunshine” due to the hope and brightness that the Cancer Centre can provide cancer sufferers and their families and friends.

Money raised goes towards helping families in the region whose lives have been impacted by cancer. This means funding new life-saving equipment, staff training and development, world-class research and the Wellness Centre.
