You make my heart smile Shiraz

Our two vineyards deliver quite different expressions of Shiraz, with the rich red loam of our Netherby vineyard adding weight and depth of flavour, and the duplex sandy soils in the Quartz Vein Vineyard contributing aromatics and spicy fruit flavours. We typically harvest in a number of small parcels from each vineyard to create a suite of blending options.

The 2018 release is a great example of our house style at Cofield, spicy and complex, vibrant Shiraz fruit, all knitted together with 14 months in quality French oak.

Aromatic, spicy and a little more than medium bodied, this classic Rutherglen Shiraz is drinking beautifully on release. That said those with the patience to cellar over 7-8 years will be richly rewarded.
