On the nose, it displays lifted aromas of red cherry, ripe strawberry, and mulberry, complemented by dried rose petal, sweet spice, dusty cocoa, and a hint of wild herbs.
Medium-bodied and fruit-forward, the palate highlights juicy red fruits balanced by soft acidity and fine, inviting tannins. Moderately aged in 2nd and 3rd use French oak barrels, with a portion left unoaked, this Tempranillo showcases the variety’s natural aromatics and structure with elegance, freshness, and a beautifully integrated expression of the King Valley terroir.

The 2024 growing season was marked by a cooler-than-average summer and well-timed rainfall, allowing for slow, even ripening of fruit. This produced a Tempranillo that is vibrant, aromatic and beautifully structured. In keeping with the attractive aromatics this variety presents, this wine has seen a moderate use of French oak, 2nd and 3rd passage barrels, while a portion of the wine has seen no oak at all.
