Grown at the Quartz Vein vineyard in Wahgunyah, our 2023 Malbec was partially fermented in open vats and aged 15 months in barrel before bottling in early 2022. Aromas of dark berries, plum, blueberry, and cherry lead to a medium-bodied palate rich with dark fruit flavors, fine grainy tannins, subtle florals, earthy nuances, and a discreet touch of oak, creating a powerful yet balanced expression of Rutherglen Malbec.

Our Malbec, grown at the Quartz Vein vineyard in Wahgunyah, was harvested in early 2021, with a small parcel fermented in open vats before being pressed into barrel. Aged for 15 months and bottled in early 2022, this wine showcases the character of Rutherglen Malbec, highlighting the region’s unique terroir.

Aromas of dark berries, plum, blueberry, and cherry lead to a medium-bodied palate bursting with rich dark fruit flavors and fine, grainy tannins. Notes of mild florals, earthy nuances, and a discreet touch of oak combine to create a powerful yet balanced wine that is expressive, structured, and full of depth.
