Corowa Whisky - American Oak Pinot Noir

Our friends and neighbours at Corowa Whisky provided us with an American Oak barrel which we filled with Cofield Durif, which we left in barrel for 2 years.

After we used the wine for our Durif vintage, Corowa Whisky used the seasoned barrel for a limited release single malt whisky.

TASTING NOTES:

Nose: Bursting with pinot noir fragrance with dry green apple and toasted cereal.

Palate: Fruity and dry with earthy character and a warming mouthfeel

Finish: Medium finish allows for vanilla from the American oak to come through.
