Corowa Whisky - American Oak Durif

Our friends and neighbours at Corowa Whisky provided us with an American Oak barrel which we filled with Cofield Durif, which we left in barrel for 2 years.

After we used the wine for our Durif vintage, Corowa Whisky used the seasoned barrel for a limited release single malt whisky.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Stewed apple with rhubarb & custard confectionery

Palate: Earthy and dry with hints of strawberry & oaky leather.

Finish: Dry medium finish with some pepper
