2023 Tempranillo

The 2023 Tempranillo is a vibrant, aromatic red wine sourced from the Dino Cavedon vineyard in King Valley, shaped by a cooler-than-average Rutherglen growing season with well-timed rains that allowed for slow, even ripening.

On the nose, it offers lifted aromas of red cherry, ripe strawberry, and mulberry, accented by dried rose petal, sweet spice, dusty cocoa, and a hint of wild herbs.

The medium-bodied palate is fruit-forward, featuring juicy red fruits balanced by soft acidity and fine, inviting tannins. Moderately aged in 2nd and 3rd use French oak barrels, with a portion left unoaked, this Tempranillo showcases the variety’s natural aromatics and structure with elegance and freshness.
