2022 Tempranillo

Tempranillo is a Spanish grape with a confident backbone of tannin balanced with sweeter red fruits like cherries and strawberries and with an alluring kick of spice.

We have sourced this Tempranillo from the Dino Cavedon vineyard in the nearby King Valley which has perfect growing conditions for this delicate grape. 

In keeping with the attractive aromatics this variety presents, this wine has not gone to barrel, as is traditionally seen with the Joven examples in Europe.

Cellaring recommendation: 4 – 6 years.
