Corowa Whisky - American Oak Durif

Created in collaboration with our friends at Corowa Distilling Co, this limited-release single barrel whisky celebrates the shared heritage of two iconic North East Victorian producers. Drawing inspiration from Rutherglen's renowned Durif grape, the whisky has been matured in American oak seasoned with Cofield Durif, bringing together the best of regional winemaking and distilling traditions.

The nose opens with inviting aromas of stewed apple, rhubarb and custard confectionery, offering a nostalgic sweetness balanced by the whisky's depth and maturity. On the palate, earthy and dry characters unfold with hints of strawberry, seasoned oak and leathery complexity. A medium-length finish lingers with warming spice and a touch of cracked pepper.

Aged for 6 years and 7 months and bottled at 52.4% ABV, this exceptional single barrel release yielded just 73 bottles, making it a rare expression that showcases the unique influence of Rutherglen Durif on Corowa's award-winning whisky.
